Mentoring Leaders......

How do you turn a new recruit into a powerful leader? The first step is to discover his/her why. What turns them on? Why are they in this business? What is it that will anchor them during discouraging times. Whatever that is, it is the key to them becoming a leader.

Additionally, a leader stands out by the nature of their commitment to their team. That is how you will be able to identify a leader.

Keep in mind that most attrition occurs within the first 30-60 days. The first week of a new recruit is critical. Most recruits say that their upline doesn’t provide enough support.

You can support them by helping them create their contact list. You can create accountability for them so they can return and report. Make an action list with dates. How much time will they commit to each day? Determine what the most important actions are to move their business forward.

Your first goal is to help them get their product for free. Make sure you provide positive reinforcement through recognition. Recognize each step that moves them closer to their goals.

By coaching your new recruit you will help them transition from a recruit to a leader.

Transform them through motivation. Acknowledge them through recognition. Help them persevere with a positive attitude. Empower by example.

"Getting Fit ..... One Step at a Time"

To keep skin clean, cleanse twice daily with a gentle
soap-free cleanser.  Do NOT scrub; use your fingertips
or a wad of cotton for the application to prevent
against damaging skin cells or breaking capillaries

It's all about building people.....

The phrase “If you help enough people get what they want then you will get what you want” has never been more true than in a direct sales business.

First ask yourself if you are willing to help other people. If you are this kind of person then direct sales is probably for you. If you are the kind of person that just wants to make money and not be bothered with other people’s issues then you might want to find a company were you just sell the products and stay away from recruiting.

The real power of a good direct sales company is “People Power”. It really is about helping others succeed. But if you can make money and help others at the same time then you really have a wonderful combination.

If you are going to be successful in a direct sales company where you can get residual income you are going to have to recruit personally and then mentor those who you recruit.

Some of your best friends will come from this group of people.

Remember....... Build people and they will build the business.

If not now...... WHEN?

You can take any successful direct sales company and pick a city where there are a lot of representatives and you can find two people who joined about the same time but one will be making a lot of money and the other will not.

What happened?

They joined the same company, bought the same kit, have the same compensation plan, sell the same products and have the same prospects in the same town. Why does one make more than the other?

I think it is a number of factors and not just one:
?       Some people are more focused on what they want
?       Some people just work harder and smarter
?       Everyone gets rejection. It is just some take it as a challenge and others let it slow them down.
?       Some people just want it more. They will just keep trying until it works
?       People who build big profitable businesses have all the challenges that people who don’t grow big have. The difference is they just keep doing what it takes.
?       The real issue is that everyone has different goals, desires, talents, obligations and priorities.
?       But if you are the person that is not growing and you really want to. Then consider how bad you really want it and write down what you are willing to do to achieve it.

.........And then take action.

You can do it!

Biz Tip of the Day

When Lyndon Johnson was President of the United
States, he had two jars on his desk. One said,
"Favors I owe". The other said, "Favors due me".
He tried to make sure the latter was the fullest.
